Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R13 Formidable (5th) - ran well enough over his minimum trip. could never get on terms with the leaders. R14 Tombstone (7th) - ran ok. wasn't good enough. R15 Midday Sun (2nd) - really good run over a trip further than ideal. Paul's winner was different class. R18 Wood Bridge (3rd) - delighted with the run but not sure about the accuracy of the places in a blanket finish. R19 Hands On The Clock (4th) - great effort with top weight over an inadequate trip.
thanks again to Davy for the comms and well done all winners and placers.

Only one runner and finally a win for Salsabil. I need a win from in the grove and I will have won with every horse.
Congrats to Darren on his double. Has the bug bitten yet.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Too Much William (11th) - Trip was a little too far Liquid Luna (4th) - Another good run without winning, just could not quite hold on Cigarettes and Alcohol (3rd) - Very good run but Paul's winner looked VERY impressive Sweet Luna (2nd) - As expected did not quite see out the trip. Good run nevertheless, could still win this season Nice Pair (5th) - Another solid run but looks held by the handicapper now Castellet (14th) - Slightly agitated in the paddock but still ran a shocker Looney (13th) - Only beat 2 home, not going to win off any mark Milth (1st) - I was screaming at the jockey for holding her up too much but the timing was perfect Great day on the flat for me with 5 out of 8 making them money including 1 winner

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Probably my best ever day on the flat Got 2 winners: The mile nursery, Fine socks will now try his hand in group company (will be outclassed but not disgraced on soft ground) The 9 furlong handicap with Corner of the House, which was a case of if you keep on shooting eventually the ball will end up in the back of the net! And for the first time ever had a placing in a group 1, 2 of them in fact. Blazing Abbey who has been a star was 3rd in the Floret and Brazilian Blue was 4th in the Cadran although the 2m4f races are a joke. She is a hold up horse who was exported with those instructions and that is the 3rd time she has made the running in a clear lead!! I also know that she is flattered and is nowhere near a group 1 horse in reality. Congrats to all winners and placers.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Pretty crummy week with lots of up the track finishes. Still managed 1 win and a couple seconds. The highlights...
19 - Come On Now (1st) - A second stringer has now notched 4 wins this season. Quite an accomplishment.
27 - Speedball (2nd) - Withstood the pressure from the hack speed horses and still came again for second. Will be tough on an easy lead.
28 - Hard To Miss (2nd) - A real surprise horse for me. Nice second in this Group 3.
33 - Cat Herding (3rd) - Highweight ran a credible third running at his distance limit. His late rally is a joy to watch.
