follis86 wrote: Sweet Luna (10th) - A good run was expected but she got injured and finished last Rehearsal Hall (6th) - Only beat 1 home but was not far away from the winner William Butler (1st) - The trip was stretching him but he JUST held on the AW Mile Final. Biggest ever win on the flat. Delighted Too Much William (6th) - Faded tamely in the final furlong in the same race Liquid Luna (2nd) - A frontrunner who missed the break. Excellent run considering but if only.... Moohimm (2nd) - Back in handicap company and performs well again in the AW Xtreme final. 3 great performances today with the pick being William Butler making it 2 in a row. My best flat victory, actually my largest prize on either code. It's been a brilliant flat season for me so far. Maybe I'll have a couple competitive in Australia Well done to all winners and placers Liquid luna for the Caufield Cup

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R25 Restless Native (3rd) - what was the jockey doing? takes a pull just as the leaders quickened and couldn't get back into contention. did well to place in the end. R26 Paperback Writer (9th) - in rear from start to finish. dreadful effort again. R27 Killing Time (7th) - simply isn't good enough at this level. R31 Wood Bridge (3rd) - good run. found a couple of better horses on the day. R32 Midday Sun (1st) - another super effort and gets a well deserved 2nd success. delighted.
well done to all winners and placers.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
A lovely end to this week. I'm well proud of the fact that my 7 two year olds all have won either a group 1 or 2 race, love my two year olds. I think a good few months ago we were asked what real life trainer u were and I said Jack Berry and I've become him this season with having good two year olds and a lovely bunch of sprinters and the rest of my grass team just Ok. Shmooze 1st the last of my two year olds team to win a group race but she's probably my most talented. Point Of Light 2nd, goes early and always struggles the last half furlong. Steaming Home 1st a outstanding run from her

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Bus Link (1st) - Won a match, held on pretty gamely Mince Pie (5th) - Finished a long last in a G2 but was only entered to pick up prize money Little Frankie (7th) - Just a little short of the very best, another solid run Rod Roach (1st) - Given the win in the stewards room. Seems really harsh on James Wheelers horse. Unlucky mate Franken (5th) - Lost ground behind a horse early on and the race was beyond him then Get What She Wants (2nd) - Given far too much to do my the jockey Castellet (9th) - Finished last in the maiden, worst horse in the stable Cigarettes and Alcohol (4th) - Another good run, can win off his lowly mark
Excellent day with 2 winners and 6/8 making the money.
Well done to all winners and placers, only 2 weeks to go

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Starting to slump again with no winners this week. One bright spot being the Champion Stakes. The few highlights...
Race 5 - Take It To The Limit (3rd) - Almost took the winners share. Benefited from a perfect ride but was caught at the very end by two better horses.
Race 11 - Spin Zone (3rd) - Finally got another placing. Thought this one was better early in the league.
Race 15 - Drue (2nd) - Thought this one would fire today. Even I picked Fabulous Dancer to beat him which helped in the tipping comp. Exciting race.
Race 28 - Warning Issued (2nd) - Got 2nd via the DQ. Easy spot may never see it that easy again. Still a donkey though.

Mondays Results
Mince Pie (4th) - Another solid run William Strider (4th) - Decent run again Liquid Luna (13th) - Lost the lead to early and faded. Only week left to pick up a victory Rehearsal Hall (7th) - Very very close finish, unlucky not to pick up money Franken (4th) - Is becoming competitive off this lowly mark Too Much William (6th) - Better over a mile Zeltweg (5th) - Led very close to the finish but got swallowed up. Good prize money though
Not a bad day with 4/7 making the money
Well done to all winners and placers, now to watch today's races

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Little Frankie (3rd) - Delighted to see her just about see out the 1m trip. Big big prize money for the yard Cigarettes and Alcohol (5th) - Disappointed to finish last after recent runs Moohimm (4th) - Another excellent run, this time in a conditions race
Not many runners today with the Breeders Cup on but the stable star Little Frankie picked up a fantastic 3rd in the 1m Juvenile.
Well done to all Santa Anita winners

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Day 3 Highlights Race 21 Gallicktyne 4th was on the button early but did not have the pace to kick on from front
Race 22 The Greek Gods 5th ran to form not good enough at highest level
Race 23 Castel De Valentee 3rd a hugely disappointing run debut was a career highlight by the looks of it
Race 24 Sky Sports Three 3rd had no chance wih the winner who ran the legs off them
Race 26 Twilighted 2nd again ran well winner was different class today
Race 27 my final chance at a Breeders Cup but Empoli outpaced again and stayed on into 3rd
No Breeders Cup For me its a huge disappointment its a meeting i try to target my flat team went off the boil after the window i guess i did not spend much time on them and that shows have to be pleased with theflat season as a whole. My King George win and my first classic win will live long in the memory.
Well done to the winners and placers cheers to the team
